What do you charge?
Three hourly rates by crew size: $250 an hour for two movers and one truck, $350 for three movers and one truck, $500 for four movers and two trucks. Hourly, counted on the job. Those are the only prices; anything else you may have heard is not ours.
Why hourly and not a fixed quote?
Most of our moves are short hops between neighbouring suburbs, and a fixed sight-unseen price has to be padded to cover the surprises we have not seen. Hourly with an honest hours range up front means an easy move costs what an easy move should. We give you the range in the enquiry reply so you can budget.
Which crew size do I need?
Studios and most one or two bedroom flats: two movers. Two to three bedroom houses and bigger apartments: three. Large homes from four bedrooms, or a house plus a heavy garage: four movers and two trucks. The run sheet tool applies the same table to your answers, and if you land between tiers the enquiry reply says which we would actually send and why.
How far ahead should I book?
Three weeks is comfortable. Inside a UNSW semester move-out fortnight or at the end of the month, earlier is smarter, because everyone's lease ends together. A short-notice move is still worth asking about; the small-crew jobs sometimes fit between the big ones.
I am in a walk-up with no lift. Is that a problem?
It is a Tuesday. A big share of this suburb's flats are interwar walk-ups and we carry them constantly. Tell us the floor and whether the stairwell turns; stairs add some hours and we would rather say so up front. The walk-up guide covers the technique and what to check.
My building has a lift and a strata manager. What do I need to arrange?
Usually a lift booking with notice, padding for the lift, and occasionally a common-area bond or a move-in window. Ask your building manager what applies; tell us the answers in the enquiry and we plan to them. Two weeks' notice covers most buildings around here.
When should the bond clean happen?
The day after the move, into an empty property, with keys-back the day after that. Same-day move-and-clean is the classic bond mistake. The bond guide walks the whole sequence, with the NSW Fair Trading rules linked.
Do you supply boxes and packing?
We move what is packed and we pad, wrap and protect all the furniture as part of the job. If you want packing help or materials, say so in the enquiry and we will tell you honestly what we can do for your dates.
Are my things protected in transit?
Everything is padded, wrapped and strapped as standard, which is where most protection genuinely comes from. Ask us anything about how a specific piece will travel and you will get a specific answer in writing.
Can you move a piano, a pool table, something awkward?
Ask, with a photo if you can. Some specialty pieces we handle with the right crew; some genuinely belong with a specialist and we will say so rather than have a go at your piano.
Why is there no phone number on this site?
So your details arrive in writing and nothing is lost in a voicemail. The form takes two minutes, you leave your number, and we call you back. It also means the person who answers has your access story in front of them instead of asking you to repeat it.
Do you move outside the Eastern Suburbs?
Yes, whenever the move starts or ends on our patch. Randwick to Parramatta, Coogee to the Inner West, wherever. The crew rate is the same; the drive is the only thing that grows.
What happens on a race day?
Clearways change the parking around the racecourse, so a move near Alison Road on a race Saturday needs a different truck plan or an earlier start. We check the calendar when we book you in; the race-day guide has the detail.
